Four Roll Bending Machine

This four roll bender is designed to pre-bend and coil steel sheets and metal plate in industries like pressure container making, hydroelectricity, and architectural, etc. Both coiling and leveling functions are available.

Performance Introduction
1. The upper roller of this bending machine functions to drive the lower roller and side rollers, by taking advantage of the friction force between the plate and the rollers to offer the torsion for the coiling.
2. The upper roller is driven by a motor, and the lower roller, side rollers, supporting rollers, and the reversal frame are hydraulically driven.
3. The lower roller of this four roll bending machine moves vertically, and the side roller moves slant.
4. Pre-bending is made by the lower roller ascending to nip the plate, the side rollers ascending to complete the end pre-bending of the plate.
5. Through changing the position of the side rollers, a four roll bending machine can be used for either symmetry bending or asymmetry bending.
6. Central lubrication system makes a plate bending machine simple to use.
7. OMRON PLC control system is adopted.
8. Lower roller and side rollers position sensor adopt the light encoders to ensure the high accuracy.

Structures
Our four roll bending machine consists of a main structure, upper roller setting, main transmission setting, lower roller setting, equilibrator setting, reversal setting, base plate, electric system, hydraulic system and lubricating system.


(1) Main structure
The main structure of this bending machine is composed of a base, fixed side frame and reversal side frame. Each part is in steel welded structure.
The frames are installed on the base by screws, and the two supports are connected together by an articulated beam which ensures good rigidity.
There are lead rails for the lower roller and side rollers on the two side frames.
The bearing box of the upper roller, designed in closed structure, is mounted on the fixed side stand.
In the reversal side, there is supporting setting for the reversal side frame. The force during the coiling is endured by the two side frames.

(2) Upper roller setting
The upper roller of our four roll bending machine is made from 40Cr (tempering HB260-300, HRC45-50).

(3) Lower roller setting
The lower roller setting of our roll bending machine constitutes of lower roller bearing base, bearing, lower roller cylinder, lower roller hydraulic motor, and so on.
The lower roller is also made from 40Cr (tempering HB260-300, HRC45-50).

(4) Side roller setting
The side roller setting is composed of two side bearing bases, bearing, side roller cylinder, and so on.

(5) Reversal setting
The reversal setting of our four roll bender is composed by a ram, reversal cylinder, and so on. It’s easy to draw out the finished working piece from the roll bending machine.

(6) Main transmission setting
It composed by a YZR motor, V-type texrope and reducer.

(7) Equilibrator setting
The equilibrator setting of our roll bending machine is designed in helix structure and it is installed at the fixed side and is fixed on the based by bolts.

(8) Lubricating system
The main reducer and side rollers reducers adopt the splash lubrication, natural cooling.
When the surrounding temperature ranges from -10℃ to 0℃, we recommend using N46, N48 lubrication oil. When the surrounding temperature ranges from 0℃ to 40℃, we recommend using N68, N100, N150, and N200 lubrication oil.
An oil gun can be applied to lubricate the other lubricating points, and the lubrication greases is better to be ZGN40-1 in winter and ZGN40-2 in summer. Lubricate twice per duty.

(9) Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system of our four roll bending machine is composed of a gear pump, a valve group, and pipes. The system circuit is composed of pressure adjusting circuit, synchrony circuit and speed circuit.
① The pressure adjusting circuit serves to adjust the working pressure through the overflow valve, and the maximum pressure is 19.5Mpa.
② The synchrony circuit feeds hydraulic oil to the upper roller through the by-pass valve, and the ascending and descending of the upper roller is controlled by the restrictor valve.
This rolling machine is designed with a displacement transducer to detect the displacement and the synchronization precision is ±0.15 mm.
③ The speed circuit control the dumping and resetting of the reverse device through adjusting the restricting speed by restrictor valve.

(10) Electric system
A controlling table and a hand button box are the primary components of the bending machine electric control system.
The motive power is three phase four line 380V/50Hz. The control circuit is PLC controlled and features less relay, reliable actions and long service life. The control box contains all control buttons and direction lights which function to monitor the whole machine’s working status and assist in machinery operation control during plate bending.
